Stella graduated from the University of Bath, with a MEng in Civil and Architectural
Engineering, followed by a PhD in Civil Engineering.
Since leaving academia, Stella has developed a reputation for excellence through
working for several highly respected engineering firms. She has worked across a
large number of award-winning projects, that encompassed offshore engineering,
transport studies, and a variety of residential new build projects and refurbishment
schemes.

Having grown up in Kenya, Stella always knew from an early age that she wanted to
set up her own practice. She visited building sites with her parents as a young girl,
and marvelled at how schematic drawings represented solid, tangible buildings that
were homes in the community, and places to work.
Stella’s vision for Ora Labora is to provide private, residential, and commercial
clients the best advice possible through a clearly defined process – one that was
honed and refined during her time at well-reputed structural engineering firms; to
work collaboratively and transparently; and provide a concept to completion end
service to the customer.

Attention to detail, depth of project management, deep understanding of the industry
helps Stella to leverage her experience and drive Ora Labora onwards.
In her free time, Stella loves spending time with family and friends
